How about attending the “Witnesses for Christ Conference.” Anyone who is called to hand on the Faith, including teachers/catechists, parents in the home and anyone who has been baptized, are invited to attend the “Witnesses for Christ Conference”, August 8-9 at the La Crosse Convention Center. Friday afternoon will feature three tracks: 1) Evangelization: This track will examine why Pope Francis is impacting so many and how can we follow by being free to respond in a brief simple way, when for example, someone at the grocery store asks you why you wear a Cross. 2) The track entitled “Parents as Partners with the Parish” will examine the segments of Teaching the Way of Love Series as a tool to meet family needs and strategies to actively engage parents in the faith formation of their children. 3) The track on Confirmation will review the new Confirmation Program “Chosen” as well as “Acts One Eight” with guidance on how to implement.
