Saint Lucia- Day Two. Woke up to a beautiful day streaming in through our balcony doors. Went down for breakfast, they cater for almost everyone, there are English bits like sausages, beans, bacon and eggs, cereals, continental breakfast like cheeses, pastries, cold meats, American breakfasts like waffles, pancakes, etc, plus what I assume to be more St. Lucian breakfasts like scrambled eggs, fruits, yogurts etc. After breakfast we were given a proper orientation of the resort. There are so many things here that are useless to lazy people like us- a gym, tennis courts, badminton, beach volleyball, the list goes on. There is an archery range that looks fun though, so we might have a go at that. There is a good waterspouts section that gives lessons for snorkelling, scuba, Hobbycat and windsurfing, plus water skiing and wake boarding and inner tubing and anything else that you want to drag behind a power boat and balance on. The resort also has loads of other activities, plus themed nights, so theres lots to keep you entertained. However, because its a couples only no children resort, its also very peaceful and relaxing, so we have been able to keep to ourselves for the most part, which is lovely! Spent the whole day relaxing on the beach, or by the pool, or on the terrace, drinking non-stop cocktails and eating a huge variety of tasty but surprisingly healthy-feeling food. Life is good!
