Salaah while travelling Question In the plane where there is no specefic organisation of praying Salah, can the person merely pray on his seat? Answer In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. According to our experiences of travelling by plane, passengers are permitted to pray salaah in the plane. However, it is important to make arrangements with the airline representatives so that they can easily facilitate performing salaah. Do consider the representatives also have to fulfil their duties and also abide by airline regulations. It is important to cooperate with them. However, in the scenario that one is unable to get permission to pray or the plane is too small, as is the case in some domestic flights, then one should perform salaah on his seat and then repeat the salaah later on.
