Salam Alikoum. First day in Marrakech - can I say heaven? The staff of the riad I have been staying in for the last 7 years came to meet and kiss me. My room has its own roof terrace with birds, flowers, couches and great audio for the loud prayers floating across the roof tops 5 times a day. Breakfast - home made little Moroccan breads, jams, orange juice, coffee and smiles. Marrakech is so easy to sell - really you could come here, do absolutely nothing and be happy just with the gorgeous interior decor and the orange trees growing up through the central courtyards. When you walk through the medina they call you gazelle - I could get sick of being a gazelle but today it feels fine.
