Salaymeh checkpoint this afternoon, Hebron, occupied Palestine. Border police from the Israeli occupation forces fired 2 tear gas canisters from the Israeli controlled H2 zone into the Palestinian controlled H1 area. The tear gas canisters were directed towards 2-3 stone throwing kids who were aged between 8 and 10 years. School kids and other pedestrians who happened to be walking past were caught up in the gas. Some took refuge in a local shop. Tear gas was also deployed when children were walking to school this morning. At no time were the Israeli forces under any threat.
