For more information, visit the companys website at ge Posted Position Title: Sales Manager 5 Career Level: Experienced Function: Sales Function Segment: Sales Management Location: United Arab Emirates U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: City: Abu Dhabi Postal Code: Relocation Assistance: No Role Summary/Purpose: MENAT SS Sales Account Managers UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar & Bahrain plays a key role in the offshore and Subsea Sales organization and impacts on the countrys go-to-market strategy. He/she will be responsible for growing the Offshore and Subsea orders in the countries will demonstrate ownership in managing new and existing accounts, penetration within the assigned area and be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy. Essential Responsibilities: Understanding Regional market dynamics to develop innovative sales strategies. - Understand the customer and country dynamics through direct interactions - Own the forecasting process and maintain an operating rhythm within a matrix organization to ensure business growth is tracked and managed accurately. - Defining specific actions to execute the plan, work within a matrix organization, develop engagement and commitment. - Be a proactive and strategic thinker whose attitudes significantly contribute to achieve sales plan. - Define innovative sales strategies and execute the plan by leveraging resources. - Directly conduct customers visit and promotional /sales activities; - Develop customer relations, generate new leads/opportunities, and lead preparation of proposals, secure quotations to customer and work through the commercial process until order closure. - Develop performance metrics to be monitored on a quarterly basis. - Works with the contracts/legal department to negotiate commercial terms and conditions. - Act as a champion of compliance policy and best business ethics. Qualifications/Requirements: · Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience in a sales, support, or marketing field) · At least 3 additional years of experience in Sales, Customer & Product Support or Services Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Desired Characteristics: · Strong oral and written communication skills · Strong interpersonal and leadership skills · In-depth knowledge of the industrial applications for product lines and markets · Integrative team working style - Knowledge of Drilling Operations, Rig Types, Wellheads, and Flow Controls Systems, Xmas Trees, Chokes, Valves etc. will be a definite advantage - In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas Upstream Markets and Customers will be an advantageTAWZIF
