Saluting the Indian Defence Forces Visit us here:shreshtabharat/registration/ On the 27th of January, 1964, Smt. Lata Mangeshkar performed the iconic song - Ae Mere Vatan Ke Logon for the first time. The song was to commemorate the Indian soldiers fallen during the Sino-Indian war. This year, on its golden jubilee, we will pay tribute to the the Indian defence forces; the men & women who guard our country, to those who lay their lives on the line to provide the security that we need to live our lives peacefully. Shri Narendra Modi will be attending this event too.
