Sam Woolf shared solid vocals tonight. He has beautiful tone and I - TopicsExpress

Sam Woolf shared solid vocals tonight. He has beautiful tone and I love that he came back to the guitar vocal thing, which he excels at. Alex, Jena, Caleb and Malaya are all coming on strong and while Sam was leading a few weeks back, it seems hes more in the middle of the pack now. Especially if you view the general publics chatter. His two shinning moments for me to date were his audition of Lego House and his original I Tried. I hope he can share several more of these truly special moments as the competition heats up. I dont think its bad that hes in the middle of the pack, as its tough to be a front runner with people hot on your heals. He can certainly see the field, gain the motivation to excel and pace himself from that position. I dont look at Harrys critique of Sam as bad because I think he genuinely cares and wants to push the contestants to be better. Harry is a very gifted artist who was trained by the best in New Orleans - Ellis Marsalis (Wynton and Brandfords father). He knows music inside and out and is not afraid to be honest. To use Harrys horse race analogy, the contestants now at 10, tomorrow 9, are still in the first turn. Theres still a big stretch of track ahead. Sam has great talent and potential and it will be great to watch his career unfold. This Idol experience cannot be beat regardless of the outcome. Its a win win from this point on. Sam we are grateful to be sharing this special experience with you, Roy Woolf, Jackie Woolf, Emily Woolf, Scott Woolf, the entire Woolf Pack and all your screaming fans. Keep up the great work! Papa Roy, great to see you dancing on the big screen tonight. You are my American Idol! - Eaden Shantay
