Sanctions dont remove rogue regimes from power, in fact they have never borne any fruits in the African continent (Give me one example in the recent past) they just make the leaders more militant and look to the East! South Sudan apart from the past liberation history and the recent AID have no much economic relations with the West. Unless China and other buyers of the countrys oil follow suit, this will only hurt the common man. You dont bring a South Sudanese into submission by using threats, you just need to strike a friendly tone!!
