"I keep hearing that both sides should be blamed for the shutdown but if you look back just a few months you will see that simply isn’t the case. Both the Senate and the House passed budgets back in the February through April time frame with the Senate and the House Democrats appointing people for a conference committee; however, John Boehner refused to appoint House Republicans for the committee t...o iron out the differences in the 2 bills. So we shouldn’t even NEED a CR at this point in time. Since Boehner didn’t do that though we need the CR. The house passed the bill, the Senate than amended the House Bill and passed it but again Boehner refused to bring that bill for a vote but brought bills that he already knew the Senate Democrats and the President wouldn’t support or in the case of the President would Veto if it made it to his desk, therefore the people causing the Government Shutdown are the House Republicans"
