Sanitation & Eco-Friendly Activities at CORD in Siruani, Tamil Nadu - Saplings were given for planting, along with tree-guards. - Awareness about hazards of plastic use was told in every forum. - Door to Door canvassing for waste segregation was done. - Villagers were encouraged and guided to build low-cost individual household latrines. - Trees procured from the Forest Department were given to the farmers and other villagers to improve the green cover.
