Sat 11/16 3:45 PM Lakers 2.0 51 Clippers 41 Johnson Center 4:35 PM Bruins 59 Rockets 21 Johnson Center WEEK #9 Division #2 The Lakers 2.0 vs. the Clippers was a good game with no more than 10 points separating the teams at the end of the game. But what happened to the Rockets who showed up with 5 people; not only did they only have five players, they played like they were at the “MEAT MARKET;” chopping the crap out of the Bruins every time that got the opportunity. Listen to me; there are going to be times when good coaching and good players beat down the opposition, it happens. As a player, a coach, and parents, you got to take you’re behind whipping with dignity! Nuff Said….the game itself, well without Jaylen “D” money was front row center receiving the ball on the break and being threatened by his coach (you better make the layup Gillyard), so “D” Money (Darius if you see him on the street) made most of his layups. And you did you see Money Mike stealing the ball and dishing out dimes? The Bruins’ big men demoralized the competition beating the boards as if pastries were on the top of the backboard. As usually we had a few parents who showed up without their medication. How did I know? By their comments during the game; there was one granny who I thought got her hands on the wrong bottle but that happens or maybe the wig was too tight. Anyway I hope all is well. Sat 11/16 1:10 PM Thunder 25 Dragons 35 Johnson Center 2:00 PM Magic 41 G.Y.C. 32 Johnson Center 2:50 PM Bruins 42 Celtics 28 Johnson Center Division #3 The Thunder vs. the Dragons proved to be a good game with Natalie of the Thunder drawing the assignment to stop the division’s best player in Shocka. How did Natalie do against the best player in the division? Does five or six steals do it for yah? Shooting guard Natalie even scored a few buckets of her own but not enough to offset Shocka, who once again proved to me a one man band. The first place Magic won over GYC by 9 points, this was another interesting game, so much so, you could say the Magic played down to the competition or GYC brought their A game even though they were missing their best player in SAMMY. The Magic is led by DJ and every now and then they let the girls play; and when they let Tianna get touches the game’s outcome is never in doubt. DJ played in a tournament earlier the day so he wasn’t his normal energized self; but Tianna was a best on the offense boards, getting put backs helping to determine the final outcome for the Magic. How the mighty have fallen is what I call the Bruins victory over the Celtics. In their first game of the season the Celtics look like a Tornado blowing thru the JC and since that first game they have fizzled out to just some wind blowing paper bags through the streets. Get it together Celtics.
