Sata is Chumbu Munsholowa – Court A Kasama Magistrate Court has acquitted Father Frank Bwalya for referring to President Michael Sata as chumbu munshololwa (a sweet potato that breaks when straightened). Father was was charged with defamation of the President and could have served a minimum of six months in jail. The Agenda for Better Zambia president however walked away from court head high with assurance he had make such inference on President Sata to describe his dictatorial mentality. Under the current PF regime, political figures including UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema and Nevers Mumba have been dragged to court for either issuing allegedly alarming remarks or defamation of the president. Both leaders have either walked away with nolle prosequis.
