Saturday Jan 3 Flat. The South Bay Boardriders (southbayboardriders) got it right, cancelling their Jan 3rd contest for lack of surf. I cant remember seeing it THIS flat for quite a while. . Nevertheless there was LOTs of activity out in the crystal-clear water today,. Pelicans were getting most of the fish, but I saw 5 seals, a pod of dolphins and a even a couple people out in the water....Including SUP local Greg Armer. . Ah well, somebody go sacrifice a surfboard so we can get some Hookipa-like surf here too hahahahahaha.... . And despite what Kratka says, it was cold this morning. Seemed like everybody was out in parkas and other Antarctic Christmas gear..... . See you tomorrow.
