Saturday June 15, 2013 - Members of Parliament have threatened to teach Uhuru/Ruto’s Jubilee Government a lesson for denying them CDF money in the just read National Budget. MPs led by Mithika Linturi, Jakoyo Midiwo, Jimmy Angwenyi, Shakeel Shabir, now say they are not going to approve any bill by the Government until they are given CDF cash. They have vowed never to approve the sh31.9 billion sought by Uhuru/Ruto Government to top up its budget until the end of the month. Midiwo told the House on Wednesday that the former Finance Minister Githae lied to MPs that the Treasury had released sh10.1 billion to constituencies which until today has not been received. “This matter is not small. The money was meant for the Budget year ending in the next 15 days. How does the Government intend to give us this money?” asked Midiwo.
