Saturday! Sweet Saturday, how weve missed you. Welcome back, and welcome to all who are reading this status report. We hope youre in fine form and have fun plans to celebrate the first day of summer! Why not kick of summer of 2014 with Breakfast at the Bakery? Thats right, today is the day when we take a little extra time to do our special cooked to order breakfast menu for you to enjoy. Our regulars love it - have YOU tried it yet? Awaken your palate with a glass of chilled, Freshly Squeezed Valencia Orange Juice. We squeeze it for you, right here in the kitchen. If it were any fresher, it would still be on the tree. Fresh baked goods await you - buttery croissants, crisp baguettes, delicious muffins and scones - all make a perfect accompaniment to a cup of locally roasted Green Star coffee. Yes, we have STICKY BUNS today. Yum. That is all. Yum. We also have House-Made Granola with Yogurt and Local Honey - this is a light and refreshing way to start the day - ask and we can add some fresh fruit for you. The quiche today is FraMani Ham and Gruyere - the classic combination for a refined breakfast, or light lunch. Our entrees - Brioche French Toast with Strawberry Mascarpone Whipped Cream - this pushes all the buttons - rich and not too sweet Or Two Farm-Fresh Poached Eggs on Pain au Levain with Artichoke Tapenade - or plain toast, if you prefer. And yes, the eggs really come from our very own chickens. Both entrees are served with applewood smoked bacon. Finally, there is the Bakers Table Croissandwich - fluffy scrambled eggs and melting cheddar cheese on our flaky croissant - have it here or take it to go - its portable! Grab one of our outdoor tables and toast the beginning of summer on our patio - Late risers, we have our normal slate of wholesome sandwiches and salads available for your lunching pleasure, today and every Saturday.
