Saturday, electricity is on so time to try and post. We are still working on the compound site to get supplemental power for grid failure, perhaps next week we will have overcome the lack of wind for the turbine. We shared great community time both this morning and this evening, evening was outside. I asked the travelers if they were aware that we are less than a degree south of the equator and the night temp is in the high 60’s maybe. It is winter but the weather really is beautiful here. Some days get a little warm at midday but just stay out of the sun, so we nap . Today we finished distributing the donated clothes; thank each of you who sent items with the travelers, we had a yard full of all ages and no one went away empty handed. Jeremy crafted a Bball hoop out of a large plastic water bottle, that guy is getting to be very Kenyan in his ability to use available materials. The kids made a ball of junk and string and a great game was on. Such Fun! The interns were hard at work this afternoon as we had a few student visitors. I cannot find words to tell you how much these two are adding to the affect and awareness of the efforts of GADL and GAD Kenya. P.S. I am trying to convince them that their parents should come see too; this is an open invitation, all who would see for themselves. The compound is of limited size but the hospitality far out does the physical attributes. Sunday is coming and I think our Lindsay is going to bring the word again. So Saturday draws to an end and church day is tomorrow. Peace and rest
