Saturday, while I was filling up the bed of my pick up truck with grass clippings, the pull starter rope on my lawnmower broke. I had visions of loaning the mower to my neighbor, but if I had, and the rope had broken while in his hands, Id still be aggravated, but since it broke while in my hands, well, lets just say its difficult for me to get mad at me. (With the new English, maybe I should have said I to get mad at I. Last night, the power supply to my lap top gave up the ghost. First trip to Frys in quite a while now, and their selection of power supplys was, to put it nicely, pitiful. I ended up with a generic, and it seems to be working, but I also have a small box full of extra fittings, in case I acquire a different brand of anything that requires a 90 watt or below a/c adapter. Another generic part for my Honda lawn mower. I hope it will last awhile. Oh, the travails of retired life .....
