Satutday night, fifth avenue, nyc. Chaunaka parade. A whole - TopicsExpress

Satutday night, fifth avenue, nyc. Chaunaka parade. A whole bunch of cars and rvs parading down fifth avenue. Every vehicle had a large menorah on its roof with all but 3 electric candles lit. They were throwing out boxes to all those along their route who identified themselves as Jewish. It was tempting to say I was so as to get a gift, but I couldnt. Sunday night I had the oppertunity to fellowship with a group of Jewish youth who had a table set up along the avenue. Once the ice was broken, they told me about Chaunaka, the menorah, the dradel, and they even spoke of one of their admired prophets. I shared with them how special and important they were too God and we gathered for a group hug. They told me that God loves me too and they gave me a dradel and a donut. So much to say, I left them with a blessing and this: Read Isaiah 53...the prophet Isaiah fortels the coming of Messiah. These kids were all about 8 to 10 years old. Amazing ten minutes. All I had to do was take a tiny step of faith and open my mouth. The Lord showed me they were not all so hard hearted.
