Saudi Gazette shared the following link: Two Saudi planes carrying medical aid arrived in Cairo on Tuesday as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to help the Arab world’s biggest nation overcome its crisis. The planes carried 100 tons of medical aid needed to set up three field hospitals ordered by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah to help treat Egyptians. Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Qattan and Egyptian military officials received the planes at a military airport east of Cairo. Qattan said 16 aircraft would be brining in the equipment for the first field hospital to treat the increasing number of the injured Egyptians. Each of the three hospitals consists of 14 integrated clinics with medicines and operating teams. Each hospital will also have an operation room, an intensive care unit, a laboratory, a pharmacy and admission rooms. The ambassador said there would be an extra Saudia flight from Cairo to Jeddah on August 22 and asked interested passengers to be at the airport long before the start of the curfew. – SG/SPA saudigazette.sa/index.cfm?method=home.regcon&contentid=20130821177648
