Sausage Crescent Squares This was one my go to things to cook when the kids had to take something to school for a breakfast party. Jace even made it as his meat pie that he had to take to school for Mrs. Etheredges class for his Medieval food. Its really easy to make. 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls 1 lb roll of bulk pork sausage (we like the hot) 1 (8 oz) cream cheese 2 cups (8 oz) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese Heat oven to 375. Unroll 1 can of dough. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch glass baking dish; press over bottom and slightly up sides to form crust. Cook sausage over medium heat, stirring frequently, until no longer pink. Remove sausage from skillet; drain. To same skillet, add cooked sausage and cream cheese. Cook over low heat until cheese is melted. Spoon evenly over dough in baking dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Unroll second can of dough. Press to form 13x9-inch rectangle; firmly press perforations to seal. Carefully place over cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 15 minutes. Cut into small squares.
