Saw a post recently that was questioning what any Muslim had contributed to America. I bit my tongue, and sat on my hands so they couldnt type/respond. This is what I wanted to say: For starters ...The Constitution of the United States! Thomas Jefferson studied and then patterned our US Constitution after the philosophies and writings of Persian King Cyrus who promoted religious freedoms for all, and even dealt with the repatriotization of the Jews (SOUND FAMILIAR!) amongst many other things. We Americans like to hold ourselves as the greatest country because of what is outlined in our Bill of Rights and because of our Constitution, and dedication to do what is right and just. Thats all well and good I guess, but where did our founding fathers get those principles and political ideologies? We got them from a King of Iran, who laid the blueprint centuries earlier.
