Saw this on a friends timeline. It made me laugh out loud and I just had to share it with you. Thanks Robert McClusky! I must try this tactic myself lol :) Had an Asda cafe tea with the children last night. On the table behind us there was a young kid, roughly the same age as our two, sat with who I assumed was his grandad. The kid was a demon. Screaming for sweets, biscuits, more chips, a slush puppy, more cake blah-de-blah. Grandad gets him a slush puppy... cool as a cucumber, just smiling and saying Easy, William, we wont be long . . . easy boy. More wailing. More Crisps !! We finished tea as quick as we could, felt really chuffed that my demon children were, in fact, little angels after all. Going round the aisles, we bump into them again. Grandad, cool as anything... Its okay William. Just a couple more minutes and well be out of here. Hang in there, boy. At the checkout he is being an uber-pain... throwing items out of the trolley, banging on the conveyor belt... Grandad says again in a controlled voice : William, William, relax buddy, dont get upset. Well be home in five minutes, stay cool William. Anyways... turns out they were parked near us and the kid was still having a paddy when we got to the car, so I had a word with Grandad. Told him how cool he was, you know, not losing his rag over William and his tantrums. Gramps just shook his head and said Thanks... but I *am* William. That little b*st*rds called Kevin
