Saw two good movies recently...Saving Mr. Banks with Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson was great...will never be a blockbuster but I liked it. Not one explosion or murder. Who would have thought that Mary Poppins, a movie that was whimsical mostly and kinda bittersweet at times could have come from such a dark place. P.L Travers (Helen Goff) was a tortured soul but found a way to release it all in her book. The second was The Grand Budapast...no doubt an art house movie...the masses would hate it but if you like really clever writing and innuendo and general silliness than its for you. The cast was great..if you like off beat stuff than you might like it.
