Say hello to the handsome Ricky Bobby! One of our dedicated foster families received a phone call from a family member that their co-worker had moved and left their dog tied to a tree. Outside. In the rain. DAYS before the call. What was their first reaction? Go get him! Despite being full with their own dogs, foster dogs and a baby they went and picked him up without hesitation. Ricky Bobby was sitting in the cold rain when they arrived and really didnt have much of a reaction to anything, acting very indifferent and reluctant. He was in good physical shape, but his spirit had taken a hit. A few days of TLC in his wonderful foster home changed that. Ricky is now thriving in his new foster home. Rickys foster mom says, Ricky is by far one of the easiest dogs I’ve ever met! He has such a friendly and goofy personality and he LOVES to snuggle!! He wants to be close to you, wherever you are. When you speak to him, he turns his head and makes the cutest face I have ever seen!! He does best outside of a crate, but is wonderful and has never messed with anything in our house. He lays on the couch when we are gone to work and when we come home we can feel the warm spot where he has been snuggled all day! I tell my husband everyday that Ricky is the perfect dog! I would adopt him in a heartbeat if we were in the position to adopt another! Ricky loves people and is wonderful with kids!! Ricky is also great with others dogs, but would do best without cats and without toy size dogs. Ricky is about 5 years old and is UTD on vaccines and has been neutered!
