Scattered thunderstorms are once again forming this afternoon just north of Highway 60. The activity is sliding to the east southeast around 25 mph. The storms are expected to last until around 11pm then begin to quiet down. Light fog is possible by morning due to rain earlier today and light winds later tonight. Friday looks like The activity is a decent day with partly cloudy skies and only a handful of storms mainly in north Arkansas. High temperatures should warm back to near 90 degrees. A weak boundary will lie along or just south of the Missouri Arkansas state line over the weekend. A daily dose of afternoon thunderstorms are possible in the vicinity of the front. The high humidity will lead to locally heavy rainfall amounts. Unfortunately this does not appear to be any sort of widespread event but tied directly to the front. Afternoon highs should still manage to warm to the upper 80s and low 90s. There is a slightly better chance for rain late Sunday into Monday morning. After this front clears then cooler drier conditions can be expected for much of next week.
