School news for today, Monday, January 27th: January 27, 2014 Bulletin 1-3-4-5-6-7-2 Students: Pirate Fest needs student volunteers to work the front gate for service hours in downtown Fort Pierce on February 1st and 2nd. Stop in the front office for details. The NiHao Club will celebrate the Chinese New Year this Friday in the cafeteria. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. NHS members need to bring in their gift cards to our meeting this Friday. Any sophomores, juniors or seniors interested in going to Williamsburg April 16-20 need to stop by room 200 to speak with Mrs. Jones. The Anchor Club will meet at 2:30 in room 103. 20 minute detention at 2:35 in room 211. Reminder to Senior Class: Grad Bash deposits are due this Friday. Seniors: Herff Jones will be taking online orders only for the senior class graduation supplies at herfforlando. Attention Seniors: You can apply for scholarships with the IRSC Scholarship Foundation – “Stars.” You must have a valid IRSC student ID number to fill out the application. Once you have applied you MUST notify the JC Guidance office so we can send your transcripts over to the college. Most scholarship application deadlines are this Friday, so please don’t wait! Stop by the Guidance office if you have any questions. Attention Juniors: This year’s ring mass is this Thursday and will be celebrated by Bishop Barbarito. Herff Jones rings which are paid in full will be delivered to Mrs. Easom before the blessing. Those of you who either bought your ring somewhere else or would like to bring in a family ring may do so for the blessing. If you do bring in a ring, place it in a container clearly marked with your name and bring it to the front office
