The School offers a wide selection of degree programs in the areas of Education, Creative and Performing Arts and Humanities. Effective teachers, in partnership with caring families have an important responsibility in shaping the citizens of tomorrow. Our teaching programs are designed to graduate exceptional teachers who will make significant contributions to the early learning centres, schools, training organisations and communities in which our graduates will teach. If you are interested in teaching or if you are a teacher who would like to undertake further study, the School offers a range of quality programs to meet your professional needs. The School also offers students the opportunity to study the Humanities at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts are able to specialise in disciplines such as psychology, social work, writing, literature, history, geography and environment, as well as professional communication and journalism leading to a diverse range of careers. Study in humanities, psychology and social work develops life long skills such as critical thinking, research and investigation, communication, design and planning which can assist in all careers. Our professional communication program covers journalism and public relations, integrating these with digital media production and business disciplines as specialisations within the program. Theory is balanced with a strong work integrated learning program, and graduates find work in a diverse range of communication roles they become journalists, event managers, corporate communication officers, client services and human resources managers, website content producers, corporate writers, and more. If you have a passion for the creative and performing arts, we have a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Music and the Performing Arts, Multimedia, and Creative Enterprise / Creative Industries, which will inspire, challenge and transform you.
