Schooner has a great handle, moves off of leg pressure, side passes, opens/closes gates, has a nice stop, and is started on barrels. He picks up his leads in the arena, has smooth gaits, haunch turns, forehand turns, and has a Natural Horsemanship foundation. Schooner has been ridden outside on trail and has been exposed to traffic, quads, kids, tractors, and bicycles. He is more curious than spooky, and loves to be ridden. We have started him on barrels and has a natural talent for them. We have also ridden him English and would make a great English Pleasure or jumper. On the trail, Schooner is a lot of fun. He moves out nicely, rides great by himself or a group, and is not a spooky horse- more curious than anything.
