Prof. Dr. Santanu Chaudhuri, Consultant - Clinical Oncologist and Director - Oncology Centre, Dr. Ferdous Shahriar Sayed, Consultant, Medical Oncology, Dr. Anisa Khanam, Associate Consultant, Pathology all of United Hospital and Dr. Tan Yah Yuen, Senior Consultant, Breast Surgery from Mount Elizabeth Orchard Hospital, Singapore were the speakers of the session. On his topic “Breast Cancer: an Overview and Diagnosis” Dr. Ferdous Shahriar Sayed discussed the possible ways of Diagnosis of Breast Cancer being practiced in Bangladesh as well as around the world and also discussed the importance of early detection and diagnosis. Dr. Anisa Khanam explained the pathological diagnosis of breast cancer on her topic “Pathological Diagnosis of Breast Cancer”. “Modern Surgical Treatment of Breast Cancer” was the topic of Dr. Tan Yah Yuen. Her presentation included a history of different methods of surgical interventions as well as developments till date. She also presented slides to show the surgical procedures and methodology she uses to treat breast cancer. Prof. Dr. Santanu Chaudhuri gave detail of clinical management of breast cancer under the topic “Modern Clinical Management of Breast Cancer”. Mr. Wahiduzzaman, Business Unit Manager – Roche Bangladesh Limited gave vote of thanks to the participants of seminar.
