Scientific research about healing touch Dr. Bernard Grad, a Canadian biochemist, conducted his groundbreaking touch research on mice and barley seedlings in the early 1960s. In the first of his double-blind studies, 300 mice were selected and injured in the same manner. One third were allowed to heal without intervention, one third were held by medical students who did not profess to heal, and one third were held by a reknowned faith healer. After just 2 weeks, the mice held by the faith healer recovered remarkably faster than the mice in both of the other groups. For the barley seed study, Grad soaked the seeds in a saline solution to get them off to a bad start. The seeds were then divided into three equal groups. The first group was watered with tap water. The second group was soaked using water held by disinterested students, and the last group was irrigated with water that was held by a renowned faith healer. The seeds that were watered by the healer held water, sprouted faster, grew taller, and contained more green chlorophyll than either of the other two groups. Book an appointment to understand what that is about... Have a beautiful day! :)
