Scott Roundabout The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that beginning Friday, August 23, two additional sections of the Scott roundabout will be accessible to motorists traveling on La. 93 in the southbound direction and traveling from St. Mary Street. The intersection of Harold Gauthe Road/Nibor Lane and the South Frontage Road will be closed to the traveling public beginning Friday, August 23 to allow crews to perform work related to the roundabout. Motorists can access the office park located near the closed intersection using Saint Mary Street to Park West Drive. The roundabout section on La. 93 (Apollo Road) in the northbound direction is currently open to traffic. This $2.3 million project involves constructing a roundabout at the intersection of La. 93 and La. 3168. Work on the project began in November 2012 and is estimated for completion in fall 2013.
