Scout is a 1.5-year old basenji/golden mix with a beautiful apricot-colored coat and the greatest “up ears” ever (did you know that dogs with ears that stand up have the greatest hearing ability?). Scout was given a second chance by our great vet after a terrible car accident that left his left front leg seriously mangled back in May. This sweet guy has been been in boarding ever since, he has patiently waited for his “wrist” to heal and is now chomping at the bit for a FOREVER (or even, foster) HOME! His perfect forever home would have another dog, preferably a female, but this is not a deal breaker! While he loves other dogs, his one true love is people! He will slurp up your face like a lollipop! If you’re looking for a running partner, Scout is probably not the dog for you. Scout is the kind of canine pal who is more content to watch the big game with you on the sofa than run interference on your neighborhood!
