Tuesday, September 30, 7:00 - 9:00 PM Independent Feature Screening Series: THE PERFECT 46 This science factual feature film has been lauded by MIT Technology Review, Scientific American, Science, and the London Evening Standard as a worryingly believable cautionary tale. The Perfect 46 explores the personal, professional, and social consequences that arise when a geneticist creates a website that pairs an individual with their ideal genetic partner for children. The film stars Whit Hertford (Jurassic Park) Keston John (The Retrieval) James Kyson (Heroes) Robyn Cohen (The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou) and Don McManus (Magnolia). What if you could have the perfect child? Would you use The Perfect 46? Meet the Panelists: Brett Ryan Bonowicz is the writer and director of The Perfect 46. His production company, Clindar is focused on producing science factual films based on cutting edge science and technology. He lives in Los Angeles. Sheldon Coolman is a Los Angeles based actor and producer. He is thrilled to be part of The Perfect 46, both behind and in front of the camera. Location: SAG Foundation Actors Center 5757 Wilshire Blvd, Mezzanine, Los Angeles (free validated parking – entrance off of Curson) Check-in will begin at 6:30pm. Doors close at 7:00pm and late arrivals will not be admitted.
