Screw you Monday!! Woke up this morning with the usual fight to get kinley out of bed which was followed by the door knob coming off as we tried to leave for school. Thank goodness I havent put the new knob on the bath tub cause it made the visegrips easy to find. On way home stopped to check in with mom and get coffee and a delicious raspberry twist only to leave the twist in the car when I got home. I made my list of things I needed from around town (this included a new door knob) while at the grocery store the school nurse calls mickyla was sick. So I hurry to the checkout and get to the school. After gathering the ill childs things the nurse asked if I was headed straight home or if I needed a barf bag cause I had to stop on the way. I said no thanks we headed straight home and its only a 2 minute drive. You can probably guess what happened next... we werent even out of the parking lots before the worst smelling vomit with chunks of oranges came spewing out. Without thinking I reached over grabbed the sack that was on the center console and ever so quickly stuck it under the chunky flow coming from the poor childs mouth. It wasnt until I looked over to find a napkin that I realised the barf bag was the sack that contained my precious twist. In that moment I realised I am a pretty damn good mom! I sacrifice food for no reason other than my kids. The rest of the day kinda drug on bunch of things I wasnt able to get done due to unexpected illness but nothing that cant wait till good ole Tuesday!
