Se bet ou ye will be my next film production. This feature film will involve three interlocking stories. Story 1 ( main) synopsis: A woman from Haiti ( Marie Blaise)arrives in America to reunite with her husband ( Kevin O. Peterson) and begin the path to citizenship and a new beginning. However her life is complicated when it is revealed that in their time away from each other their relationship has become strained and she finds difficulty assimilating into her new community when she finds they are not as welcoming as she hoped. Story 2 synopsis: A young man ( Talli Clemons) with big dreams of becoming a lawyer for the people begins to face new challenges that may take those dreams away including an old girlfriend (LaNecia Edmonds) who claims she is having his baby. A mother ( Sonya Joyner) who doesnt believe it can happen and a community more supportive of his cousin recently released from prison than him. Story 3 synopsis: A couple , (Jose Gonsalves, Diana Porter ) deal with the pressures and challenges of being an interracial family including family that doesnt support it. This film is inspired by a poem of the same name written by Marie Michaelle .
