Season 2 the korean office episode 2. Once again, I deem my issue not an individual one but something systemic and cultural. What is bothersome is the way the managers avoid responsibilities. This practice goes all the way up to vp, according to sources. I decided that time has come. Asked the guys from other teams for their opinions. They are all supportive of my idea and decision. Now I am a hero for the few good men. I went to see the HR head and told him my story. He flips and cannot believe this is happeing to thr division with the worst performances. Well thats how it is. Dirty politics is the best friend with shitty performance. I told him for the time being I do not wish anyone hit by this. He promises. I find out if I make it official an investigation will follow through. I asked if there is any other way like changing the evaluation system for both managers and staff. expectedly there is no way. I knew this would mean the challenge for even the HR team. I said I will let him know if I decide to take steps. I will lose if I play their game. I play my game for the best interest of company. This company has been declining inwardely and they hired new guys like me for change. I told my supporters what happened and the only way is to make it an individual issue, which is the last thing I want. I had an idea of starting a podcast on english lesson for the companys staff where I will discuss relevant issues. First they seemed not to get it. I explained more and they were supportive. I come home and discussed it with my old man who suggested that I should demand demotion. What an excellent idea. I am thinking to first approach the division leader of elsewhere. I want to do sales and willing to start from the very bottom. I have seen my own boss and I know what to expect from him. No need to let him know my plan ahead when I am on my own.
