Season 3 of Gilmore Girls is super painful to watch. (Lots of feelings.) Heres why I usually skip it. 1. Lorelei keeps trying to make hats happen. Its really not okay. 2. I get that Jess is super hot and angsty and reads books, but hes also emotionally abusive and Rory crying in the car because she doesnt know why hes mad, and she doesnt like what she does or thinks around him is just depressing. SOMEONE CAN LIKE VONNEGUT AND BE NICE TO YOU AT THE SAME TIME RORY. She never does figure that out, which is why Jandi Dean wins with her #teamcareer vote. 3. The episode where Jess meets his Dad is called Say Goodnight, Gracie, which is how the author of my 3 page hate-letter ended his truly epic rant. There is something so pleasing and wonderful about a world where someone can rail against gays and feminism and defend serial killers because at least they werent gay, and wrap it up with a obscure allusion to a one-man play. And then hunt down a strangers address and send it to them. 4. Deans hair is still super bad. 5. Luke is a really good actor, why was Gilmore Girls his only gig?
