Season Greetings & Hello 2015. Time Flies when you are having Fun. For Elizabeth & I it was doing something we enjoy doing and getting rewarded for doing it. After 42 years of flying my family & I still enjoy me doing my piloting job. The excitement of traveling and teaching younger pilots and flying to new or challenging destinations, keeps me young as a pilot. With the new orders of the 330 Neos I look forward to even more exciting places beyond our usual current 8-9hr radius. You just got to love my airline. It just kept on growing from the time I step foot more than 12 years ago. Each year I contribute close to 800 hrs not including Sims time and I am now enjoying my year end holiday knowing I have given my best. The other luxury we have is using my non flying time to manage a business with my family and friends. The last 4 years have been a rejuvenating and rewarding experience. Its amazing for us to see what we were able to achieve on a part time basis. We look forward to put more time into it when I retire from flying in less than 4 years, when I turn 65. Apart from my usual flying duty travels, 2014 thru our business brought us back to the U.S. where we spent time visiting the Home Office @ Idaho Falls, the Annual Convention @ Salt Lake City and some leisure week at San Francisco and the beautiful Napa Valley. In June we made a trip on the Presidents Club to Cancun Mexico where amongst others we visited Rio Secreto the famed underground river system of eons gone by rediscovered recently. I also had an exhilarating time on the ZipLine which was reputed to be one of the worlds best! Elizabeth and me including our eldest daughter Jasmine were also qualifiers for yet another Leadership event that came in the form of a getaway to Bali with our other Senior Business partners including Robert & Elizabeth Bain. Another event worth mentioning was the Master Air Pilots award that I received in London last Oct. It was a pride and honor to be a recipient along with two of my former Pilot School mates Air Marshall Rodzali Daud from the RMAF and Group Captain John Benjamin. Certainly you work no more when you do or found the things you love doing. I found that people inherently need to feel what they are doing is worthwhile and valuable. We are blessed to have the profession and a business that brings forth to us these opportunities in life. Compliments of the Seasons and to a greater Year for you and your family in 2015.
