Seasonal forest fires are affecting some areas of California, with - TopicsExpress

Seasonal forest fires are affecting some areas of California, with one in particular burning near to the western entrance of Yosemite National Park. Tours are being re-routed as necessary and will access Yosemite Valley via the Tioga Pass or Highway 140, with alternative arrangements being made for any groups scheduled to stay near the affected areas. Please note Yosemite National Park is 3081 square km (twice the size of Greater London) and the park is currently open to all visitors. We continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide additional information as and when it becomes available. Please contact us on [email protected] or +44 (0) 208 682 8920, should you have additional questions or concerns. Additional updates will also be posted at trekamerica.co.uk/incidents.html
