Second annual Santa Stroll and Rudolph Run set for Nov. 30 Get your runners ready because the second annual Deer Lake Santa Stroll and Rudolph Run is coming up November 30. Registration for the family run/walk in support of the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal starts at 9 am at the Deer Lake Salvation Army Citadel parking lot. Racers collect pledges to raise funds for local Salvation Army programs that will help women and children in crisis and make Christmas a possibility for those in need. This year’s event is being held in partnership with the Bank of Nova Scotia and organizers are seeking the support of citizens and businesses alike. To register for the event, drop by the local offices of the Salvation Army, Salvation Army Thrift Store, Bank of Nova Scotia, Re-Max, or ActiveLife Physiotherapy.
