Secret #782 [Year 2] I thought Imperial being ranked 2nd in the world as a university meant it would be an excellent educational establishment. Since Ive got here it feels like the teaching is secondary to everything else that goes on which I was disappointed by. To me it is a step back from college and high school in terms of working together with your teachers. I feel like Im working against my department to earn my degree rather than working together with them. Also, I feel like each year they are demanding better and better students for their intake but the quality of teaching doesnt change. Lastly, I feel like it is a place that doesnt care about the individuals. Theres no sense of community and it is all a bit soulless. I think my idea of university was a little too utopian.
