Wando Heights is a handsome 1960s block of apartments in St Kilda East which has some lovely, spacious north facing apartments that come on to the market from time to time. The current offering is Unit 11 which is a 2 bedroom apartment listed by Gary Peer with a quoted auction range of $490K to $540K which seems like good value for its light, location and spaciousness. However back in February Gary Peer sold Unit 1 in the same block, which had a similar layout, and orientation, but a larger living and dining for $640K! I would like to think that the original bathroom, the extra space and perfect presentation of Unit 1 made the price difference.
