See back when I lived down south this is all you did, you fought roosters and if you didnt, theyd beat you up, so you kind of had to. I became a master of it and won a lot of money for a small time gang which now makes its money doing more legal things like selling corn to china but I tell you way back when I was a kid, the only thing there was to do really was fight birds. Birdfighting is a real noble, forgotten sport. I remember out by the creek we had a tiny makeshift pit we would fight pigeons in, and then worked our way up to robins and crows. Crows fight like hell, especially when we would hit them real hard. When I was 6 I sent this song to Jim Mangrum and he came down to visit, then he recorded it
