See if you recognize the bean pole with huge hair playing keyboards. That was a great video shoot so many years go. Jean was incredibly nice (used to be in the Plasmatics), the vid director was my pal (and former neighbor in Hollywood) Nigel Dick, whos shot some of the biggest videos in history. But the best part of the shoot? It was filmed at A&M Studios, and as I was sitting around waiting for them to be ready, into my dressing room walks....Barry White! He was recording there and was just walking around. Being an enormous fan of his I was stunned and giddy. We had a few nice words and then I had to go shoot my part. I ran into him again a couple months later outside an OJays concert in L.A. for which I didnt have a ticket. I was standing around looking for scalpers when a huge figure emerges out of the dark. He actually remembered me but didnt have an extra ticket for the show. Yep, I asked him. I can only imagine how historic it wouldve been to sit next to Barry White at an OJays concert. PS. I did manage to find a scalpers tic.
