Tickets: $15 in advance, $17 day of show via Ticketweb The Sadies are Canadas answer to Bob Pollard, in a way: On average, the immensely prolific group releases an album a year. However, the groups shapeshifting sound is far more elusive; Southern gothic garage, laid-back country and Americana and jangly garage are all touchstones. Consider openers the Chamber Strings, who are playing their first show, a new-old band. Akron native Kevin Junior initially started the band in Chicago in the late 90s and released several records before the group disintegrated. When he moved back to his hometown last year, however, he decided to restart the garage-pop-leaning group with a new cast of characters, including erstwhile Cle music scene enthusiast Dave Swanson.
