Seeds (Part 4) Jesus, the Seed And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit. (John 12:23-24) Jesus refers to Himself as a seed that must be sown in order for the fruit of the Kingdom to come forth. You and I are a part of that harvest. We are born again according to the principle of sowing and reaping. God is the Giver who sowed His Son in order to reap you! The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; (Mt. 13:38) Even when speaking of humanity, Jesus recognized the children of the kingdom and the children of the wicked one as the harvest of seeds sown. The ‘good seed’ are the children of the kingdom. You and I are seeds! Once we understand how the Kingdom works it is easy to move into God’s way of doing things. Every thought, word and action is a seed, and every seed reproduces according to its nature. We can see great increase in our lives if we knowingly activate the seed principle in all that we say and do.
