Seeing Playing with Myself was quite an experience! At first, I felt like I was watching one of my eighth grade students from the past pick on the crowd, crack jokes, but then the actors brilliance began to unfold. This writer, director and actor all rolled into one is quite a talent, in my opinion. Like a great writer, he unfolded the story as he talked to the audience. He shocked, surprised and kept me on my toes- I didnt know what he was going to do next. He does a fight scene with himself that is really hysterical and then goes into a karate match with a friend- this guy is obviously also a professional fighter. He made me think all the way home about self-centerness... In the end, if you do not care for anyone else but yourself- you slowly die... and of course, this guy demonstrates that right within the audience. I would really like to see another show of his... I think he is brilliant- (althought a little rough with his language and a few jokes :)
