Seeing as my attitude today has been deemed abrasive may I state the following to my Face Book friends. Unless it is to assist in the capture of a criminal at large that the authorities or News agencies openly invited social media outlets to spread the word, really guys, I dont want to see video of barbaric treatment of animals or children. Yes, its an epidemic issue globally that our species has cornered the market in cruelty, but why not, except for the formerly stated reasons, just POST that this behavior disgusts you? Is it needed to attach a video that obviously, if it was recorded, was already in the proper hands? If its a cry for attention to your profile page on a site designed to make connections to old FRIENDS and new, it is the wrong path and I for one refuse to even press the play prompt to look at it. Furthermore, to the direction of my friends who do post with intent to truly participate in more than just passive posts of these deplorable acts I applaud your action. Those who post these brutal and horrid videos and type above it You have to see this! It makes me irate! and do nothing........youre solving nothing and self serving. Im not stating Im better than you. Im assuming youre better than that! To my FB friends, have a great rest of the weekend everyone.
