Seeing that today is the 47th anniversary of the first human heart transplant performed by an amazing team in Cape Town led by my brilliant grandfather Prof Christiaan Barnard I thought I would share the post below. One of my heroes Dr Aseem Malhotra will be joining us in Cape Town for The First International Low Carb High Fat Health Summit 20-22 Feb 2015. Dr Malhotra is a cardiologist from the UK who will be presenting on how dietary changes can rapidly and substantially reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. There will also be a public debate entitled: The Cholesterol myth with experts such as Dr Eric Westman Jimmy Moore and Dr Michael Eades.
